Xiaoxian County is located in the north of Anhui Province, China, belonging to Suzhou City, located at the junction of four provinces, namely, Suzhou, Henan and Anhui, and is an important node city of Huaihai Economic Zone. The county has a long history, with human activities as early as the Neolithic Age, and the county was set up during the Qin Dynasty, with a history of more than 2,200 years of establishment. Xiao County is famous for its calligraphy and painting art, known as the "Hometown of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Art", as well as the famous "Hometown of Grapes", producing high-quality grapes and wine.
Economically, Xiao County is based on agriculture, with the coordinated development of industry and service industry, including building materials, machinery manufacturing, food processing and other industries. The transportation is convenient, with several highways and railroads running through the whole territory. The local culture and tourism resources are abundant, with attractions such as Huangzouyu National Forest Park and Tianmen Temple, blending natural scenery with humanistic relics. Xiao County has a population of about 1.4 million, with a dialect of the Central Plains official language and a unique folk culture, showing an overall development of a blend of tradition and modernity.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. The local economy is based on fishing, tourism and agriculture, and the climate is cool enough for summer vacations.
With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the nature and history of the Caucasus and is easily accessible for short trips.
