Xiaolan Town is located in the north of Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, in the core area of the Pearl River Delta, adjacent to Guangzhou, Foshan, Zhuhai and other cities, with a well-developed transportation network, and is an important node of the Guangzhou-Foshan metropolitan area and the Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Founded in the Ming Dynasty, the town has a history of more than 600 years and is famous for its "Chrysanthemum City". The Chrysanthemum Festival held every year is an intangible cultural heritage, which combines traditional horticulture and cultural demonstrations and attracts many tourists.
As the "China Hardware Industry Base", Xiaolan takes hardware products, audio equipment, intelligent locks and other industries as the pillar, with an active private economy, a perfect industrial chain and a high-quality business environment. In recent years, the town has been actively promoting the integration of industry and city, with both modern urban style and Lingnan water town flavor, and is a famous town in the Pearl River Delta region integrating industry, culture and livability.
Located in northeastern Nevada, USA, in Elko County, McGill is a small town with roots in mining history, nestled amongst the vast desert and mountains. Founded in the early 1900s, the town sprang from nearby copper mines and was once an important industrial and mining community along the Union Pacific Railroad. Today, despite the decline of the mining industry, the town retains a distinctly western flavor. With a small population (about 1,000), a slow pace of life, and a friendly community atmosphere, McGill is surrounded by spectacular natural landscapes and is close to Great Basin National Park and Henderson Peak for those who enjoy tranquility and outdoor exploration. With vintage architecture and localized remnants of the mining era, the town is a hidden gem of rural Nevada charm.
