Located in the northern part of Trinidad, Arouca is one of Trinidad and Tobago's major towns, about 16 kilometers from the capital, Port-of-Spain, and is situated in the southern foothills of the El Taprias mountain range, offering a combination of natural beauty and human dynamism. Known for its natural attractions such as Blanchisseuse Falls, and surrounded by tropical rainforests, it is a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts for hiking and eco-exploration.
