Xiaogan is located in the north of Hubei Province, in the northeast of the Jianghan Plain, closely connected with the provincial capital of Wuhan, and is a core member city of the Wuhan City Circle. It is named after the legend of Dong Yong who sold his body to bury his father in the Eastern Han Dynasty and his filial piety moved the sky, and is known as "the hometown of Chinese filial piety culture", and its territory carries the profound filial piety cultural heritage such as Dong Yong Park and the Museum of Filial Piety. The area is rich in products, Xiaogan hemp sugar, rice wine and other specialty snacks are well-known throughout the country, is an important representative of non-heritage food. Economically, Xiaogan is an important industrial base and agricultural production area in Hubei, with outstanding advantages in industries such as auto parts, food processing, salt and phosphorus chemicals. At the same time, Tangchi Hot Spring, Shuangfeng Mountain, Guanyin Lake and other natural landscapes and humanistic landscapes are intertwined, and it is an important tourist destination in Northeast Hubei.
Mapou is an important town in the northern region of Mauritius, located about 20 kilometers north of the capital, Port Louis. It is part of the Rampart River district and is adjacent to the upmarket residential area of Monschouassi, which is known for its peaceful living environment and amenities.
Mapou is situated in the transition zone between the northern coast and the mountainous central part of the island of Mauritius, and is surrounded by the A4 highway connecting Port Louis to the northern tourist areas. Mapou is surrounded by Mapou Business Park, a large shopping center containing supermarkets, restaurants and banking services, and is the central business district for residents in the north. The area is predominantly low-density residential, with a large expatriate community, international schools and excellent medical facilities.
The area retains a partially landscaped sugar cane fields and is close to natural attractions such as the Labdone Bird Park. Residents have easy access to the beaches of Monschouassi and Pérébéré in the north, where they can experience Mauritius' distinctive blend of Creole culture and French colonial architecture.
