Xiangyang is located in northwestern Hubei Province, in the middle reaches of the Han River, and is the deputy center of Hubei Province and an important hub in the border area of four provinces, namely Hubei, Hubei, Henan, Shaanxi and Chongqing. With a history of more than 2,800 years, Xiangyang has been a place of war since ancient times. Bata is Equatorial Guinea's largest port city and the economic center of the continental region, located along the Gulf of Guinea in west-central Africa.
