Xiangning County is located in the southwestern part of Shanxi Province and the southern part of Linfen City, situated in the middle reaches of the Yellow River and the southern foothills of the Lvliang Mountain Range, and is named after "Xiangning Anning". Here is the loess plateau gully area, the Yellow River along the formation of a unique canyon landscape, rich in coal resources, is one of the important energy bases in Shanxi, known as the "coal township".
