Xiangfen County is part of Linfen City, Shanxi Province, China, and is located in the Jinnan region, on the east bank of the lower reaches of the Fen River. The county has a long history and is one of the important birthplaces of the Chinese civilization, famous for the Tao Temple ruins, known as the "Capital of Emperor Yao", and archaeological discoveries have shown that a highly developed prehistoric culture existed more than 4,000 years ago.
