Xiangdong District is located in the west of Jiangxi Province, belonging to Pingxiang City, located in the border of Jiangxi and Xiangxiang, known as the "Gateway to West Gan". East of Pingxiang city, west of Hunan Province, Zhuzhou City, is an important industrial base and transportation hub in western Gan.
