Chitembo is located in Bié Province, central Angola, and is one of the most important agricultural and commercial towns in the province. It is situated in the hinterland of the Bié Plateau, with an average altitude of about 1,500 meters, and has a mild tropical grassland climate, with distinct wet and dry seasons. The local economy is dominated by agriculture, mainly producing coffee, corn, beans and other crops, and is the distribution center for agricultural products in the surrounding area. Shamuteba is rich in natural resources and traditional folklore, and its inhabitants speak mainly Mbundu and Portuguese. Although the infrastructure is still being developed, its unique geographical location and agricultural potential make it one of the towns to be reckoned with in central Angola, which has gradually attracted more investment and attention in recent years as the region's economy develops.
