Located in Bayannur City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China, Wuyuan County is situated in the hinterland of the Hetao Plain, known as the "Breadbasket of the Hetao". As a typical agricultural county, Wuyuan is rich in sunflower, honeydew melon, wheat and other crops, and is an important agricultural production base in the country. It has a long history, and was an important area for the integration of the ancient Central Plains Dynasty and the nomadic people in the north, with historical relics such as the ruins of the Great Wall of the Qin and Han Dynasties.
