Located in the eastern part of Hubei Province, China, Wuxi is a county-level city under the administration of Huanggang City, which is situated on the north bank of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, across the river from Jiujiang City of Jiangxi Province. As an important port city along the Yangtze River, Wuxi takes industry, agriculture and logistics as its economic pillars, and is known as the "Gateway to East Hubei".
