Wutai Mountain in Shanxi, China, located in Wutai County, Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province, is the first of the four famous Buddhist mountains in China, a World Heritage Site, and is known as the "Roof of North China". Wutai Mountain is named after the five main peaks (east, west, south, north and central) that surround the mountain, with the main peak, the North Platform Ye Doufeng, at an altitude of 3,061 meters, being the highest peak in North China. It is not only the dojo of Manjushri Bodhisattva, but also a sacred place for both Chinese and Tibetan Buddhism, with many thousand-year-old temples such as Hian Thong Monastery and Tawen Monastery, and the ancient buildings, murals and sculptures in the temples are of high artistic value. Wutai Mountain, with its magnificent natural scenery and profound Buddhist culture, is known as a "cool Buddhist country" with cool and pleasant summers, and is not only a center of religious pilgrimage but also a summer resort, attracting believers and tourists from all over the world to come and explore the place where history and faith are blended.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
