Located in Haixi Mongol and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, China, Wulan County is situated in the northeastern part of the Tibetan Plateau, with an average altitude of about 3,000 meters. As an important county-level administrative region in Qinghai Province, Wulan is famous for its magnificent natural scenery and diverse ethnic cultures. Its name means "red" in Mongolian, reflecting the deep historical heritage of the area.
Wulan County is home to the Chaka Salt Lake, a national 4A-level tourist attraction known as the "Mirror of the Sky", which has become a paradise for photography enthusiasts as the mirror-like lake reflects the snow-capped mountains and blue sky. The county is also home to the Harihatu National Forest Park and the Dulan Lake National Wetland Park, with diverse ecosystems that are important habitats for highland plants and animals.
The economy is dominated by animal husbandry, salt industry and tourism, with the Qinghai-Tibet Railway and National Highway 109 passing through the county, making transportation convenient. The local community is inhabited by Han, Mongolian, Tibetan, Hui and other ethnic groups, forming a unique folk culture, with colorful traditional festivals such as the Naadam Congress. Wulan County is gradually developing into an important destination for ecotourism and ethnic culture experience in western Qinghai.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
