Located in the southwestern part of Inner Mongolia, upstream of the Yellow River, Wuhai City is an important regional center city in western Inner Mongolia, bordered by Ordos in the east, Alxa League in the west, and Shizuishan in Ningxia in the south. It is a typical industrial and mining city with rich coal reserves and is known as the "Sea of Wujin" due to the development of coal, while relying on the water resources of the Yellow River to develop grape cultivation, which is known as "the land of grapes". Wuhai Lake, Jinsha Bay and other landscapes in its territory are a blend of Yellow River culture and desert flavor, with a strong cultural atmosphere of calligraphy, and it has been awarded the title of "Chinese Calligraphy City".
