Henan Wolong is not an independent country or city, but the Wolong District, a municipal district of Nanyang City, Henan Province, China. The area is named after the famous statesman Zhuge Liang (known as Wolong), who lived here as a hermit during the Three Kingdoms period, and is rich in history and culture. Located in the southwestern part of Henan Province, Wolong District is the political, economic and cultural center of Nanyang City, with a total area of about 1,017 square kilometers and a population of about one million.
With agriculture, manufacturing and tourism as its economic pillars, the area is rich in cultural heritage and natural landscapes, such as the Wuhou Ancestral Temple, the Han Painting Museum and the Dushanyu National Mining Park.
