Westover is a small city in the Shelby County subdivision of the U.S. state of Alabama. Located in the central region of the state, the city is part of the Birmingham Metropolitan Statistical Area and is strategically located in a hilly and wooded natural environment.
Westover was officially incorporated in 1978 and is a relatively young community.
