Weiyuan County, belonging to Neijiang City of Sichuan Province, is located in the south-central part of Sichuan Basin, in the hinterland of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, with a total area of 1,289 square kilometers. The unique "Dome Geomorphology" in the county is rare in the world, and the rolling red hills are covered with dense forests, which is known as the "green gene pool" and the national ecological demonstration area.
