Located in the eastern part of Shaanxi Province of China, Weinan is situated in the eastern part of the Guanzhong Plain and is the eastern gateway to Shaanxi, with a total area of about 13,000 square kilometers and a population of more than 5 million. As one of the major birthplaces of Chinese civilization, Weinan has a long history and a rich cultural heritage with famous sites such as Mount Hua of the Western Mountains, Sima Qian Ancestral Hall and Qiachuan Wetland. The economy is based on agriculture, producing wheat, apples and peppers, while industry is developing rapidly, covering energy, chemicals and manufacturing. Transportation is convenient, connecting Xi'an to many provinces, with the Longhai Railway and Lianhuo Expressway running through the region. With its mild climate and four distinct seasons, Weinan is a popular destination for tourism and investment.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
