Wanyuan City is located in the northeastern part of Sichuan Province, the hinterland of the Daba Mountains, is the county-level city of Dazhou City, located in the combination of Sichuan, Shaanxi and Chongqing provinces (cities), known as the "key to Qinchuan". Within the territory of the mountains, the average altitude of 1200 meters, forest coverage of more than 70%, is a national ecological demonstration area, China's natural selenium-rich agricultural products township. It is a national-level ecological demonstration area and the hometown of natural selenium-rich agricultural products in China. It has the Batai Mountain National Scenic Spot, with the main peak at an altitude of 2,380 meters, which is regarded as the "First Peak in East Sichuan". As an old revolutionary area, Wanyuan is the place where "Wanyuan Defense Battle" took place during the Red Army's Long March, and is rich in red cultural resources. Located in Yunlin County, Taiwan Province of China, Douliu City is the county seat and political, economic and cultural center of the county.
