Wangyi District is located in the central part of Tongchuan City, Shaanxi Province, China, and is the political, economic and cultural center of Tongchuan City. The district is located at the southern edge of the Loess Plateau and has a temperate continental monsoon climate with four distinct seasons. With a long history, Wangyi District was once an important node of the ancient Silk Road, and is rich in cultural heritage and tourism resources, such as the Medicine King Mountain and the ruins of Yaozhou kilns.
