Wandan is located on the western coast of Pingtung County in Taiwan, China, neighboring Xinyuan Township in the north, Donggang Township in the east, Kanding Township in the south, and the Taiwan Strait in the west. It is a typical plains township with a flat terrain and a dense river network. Agriculture is the main industry in the area, producing watermelon, pomelo, rice and other agricultural products, among which Wandan watermelon is famous for its thin skin and sweet flavor, and is one of the most important agricultural products in Pingtung.
