Wancheng District is located in the southwestern part of Henan Province, the core area of Nanyang City, at the junction of Henan, Hubei and Shaanxi provinces, and is an important gateway to the Nanyang Basin. As one of the birthplaces of Chu and Han cultures, Wancheng has been known as "Emperor's Township", with a history dating back to the Xia Dynasty, Wanyup of Chu during the Warring States period, and one of the five major metropolitan areas of the country during the Han Dynasty, where Zhang Zhongjing (Sage of Medical Science), Zhang Heng (Sage of Science), and other historical celebrities were born. The area is rich in culture, with national key cultural relics protection units such as the government office, Wuhou Ancestral Hall (Zhuge Liang's plowing place) and Nanyang government office, as well as national non-heritage projects such as Nanyang Branding and Dushan Jade Carving. Nowadays, Wancheng, relying on its location advantages, vigorously develops advanced manufacturing industry, modern agriculture and modern service industry, and is the political, economic and cultural center of Nanyang City, which is an important node city of the Central Plains Urban Agglomeration, combining both historical heritage and modern vitality.
Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
