Vik is a small town on Iceland's southern coast, with a population of less than 300, but known for its spectacular natural beauty. With Europe's southernmost coastline, the iconic black sand beaches are made of volcanic basalt, and the waves lapping against the black pebbles create a striking visual impact. Nearby, the Reynisfjara waterfall plunges into the Atlantic Ocean and is surrounded by a cluster of basalt columns, which legend says are the work of giants. The town is also surrounded by glaciers, volcanoes and tundra, making it an ideal spot for viewing the Northern Lights and the Midnight Sun. Though small, Vik epitomizes Iceland's natural beauty and attracts visitors from all over the world to explore this rawness and purity.
Junshan, located in Dongting Lake in the southwest corner of Yueyang City, Hunan Province, is a small island in Dongting Lake, which is regarded as an important cultural landmark of "Water under the sky of Dongting, building under the sky of Yueyang". Junshan Island is small in size, but it combines famous mountains, water, literature and tea. There are many monuments on the island, such as Xiangfei Ancestral Hall, Pavilion of Transmission of Books, and Pavilion of Wine and Fragrance, etc., which carry the poignant legends of Emperor Shun's two consorts, Ehuang and Nuying, and endow it with a profound cultural connotation. In addition, Junshan is famous for producing the famous tea "Junshan Silver Needle", whose buds are strong, firm and straight, and when brewed, the tea has three ups and three downs, which is called one of the best in tea. Climbing to the island, you can overlook the vastness of the smoky waves of the 800-mile Dongting, and feel the unique charm of the blend of nature and humanities, which is a famous tourist attraction in the south of the Yangtze River.
