Vesanto is a small municipality in south-central Finland, located in the Pirkanmaa district, about 70 kilometers from Kuopio. With an area of about 400 square kilometers and a population of only about 2,000, the municipality is known for its peaceful lake and forest landscapes and traditional country life.
