Velika is situated next to the famous Velika Beach, a wide sandy beach that is one of the longest in Montenegro, stretching for about several kilometers, and is popular among tourists for its golden sand and clear, calm waters.
The area's tranquil setting, surrounded by dense olive and pine forests, is perfect for travelers looking for relaxation and a beach vacation. In addition to its natural beauty, Velika is also close to the historical and cultural city of Ulcinj, making it easy for travelers to explore the area's ancient castles, remnants of Ottoman-era architecture, and vibrant local markets.
