Lower Vega (Vega Baja) is a coastal municipality in the northern part of Puerto Rico, located about 40 kilometers west of the capital city of San Juan. Founded in 1776, the municipality has a total area of about 120 square kilometers and a population of about 60,000, which is typical of the size of towns in Puerto Rico.
Lower Vega is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the north, with natural attractions such as the famous Monte Beach, and a hilly terrain dominating the interior. The climate is tropical and maritime, warm and humid all year round, suitable for tropical crops, and historically known for sugar cane cultivation.
The economy is based on manufacturing, tourism and agriculture, with several industrial parks. Culturally, the city is a blend of Spanish traditions and Caribbean flavors, with annual carnivals and traditional music festivals. The old town retains colonial architecture, such as the 19th century Sacré-Coeur Church.
San Juan is connected via Highway 2, which is about an hour's drive. Visitors can visit Cipres Beach, participate in water sports, or explore the nearby Tortuguero Cave Park. Local specialties include seafood and mofongo desserts.
Heshan City is a county-level city under the administration of Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province, China, located in the western part of the Pearl River Delta, adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao, about 80 kilometers away from Guangzhou, and is a famous hometown of overseas Chinese. The city has distinctive industrial characteristics, with the reputation of "China's microphone industry base" and "China's ShuiKou Town", and developed industries such as electronic information, hardware and sanitary ware, and footwear manufacturing. Meanwhile, Heshan has a beautiful ecological environment, with the "small bridges and flowing water" of Gulao Water Town and Dayanshan Forest Park, which is a combination of Lingnan water town style and natural scenery. As an important node city of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Heshan is actively integrating into the regional development, continuously optimizing the business environment and attracting many enterprises to settle down, making it an ideal place for investment and leisure tourism.
