Known for its pristine natural beauty and cultural richness, it is surrounded by rainforests, waterfalls and spice plantations, and is just a few kilometers from the famous Grand Etang National Park, where hiking enthusiasts can explore the volcanic lake and tropical ecology. The village retains a traditional Grenada lifestyle, with local people living off agriculture and a long history of nutmeg and cacao spice cultivation. Although small in size, Union Village is an ideal place to experience the slower life of Grenada's "Spice Island" for those seeking a deeper blend of cultural travel and nature.
