Třeboň, located in South Bohemia, is an ancient medieval city famous for its natural hot springs and long fishing tradition. Founded in the 12th century, the city's well-preserved Gothic and Renaissance architecture surrounds the central square, where St. Elizabeth's Church and the Black Tower are landmarks. One of the oldest spas in Europe, its mineral-rich waters have been used for therapeutic purposes since the 15th century and continue to attract relaxation-seeking travelers today. Known as the "Carp Capital of the World", Trzesztina is surrounded by man-made ponds, creating a unique watery ecosystem where local carp dishes and dark beers such as Bernard's are a must-try. This small town, which combines history, nature and gastronomy, is the ideal place to experience the hidden charms of the Czech Republic.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
