Tieling City is located in the north of Liaoning Province, in the middle reaches of the Liao River, and is an important node city in the Shenyang Economic Zone, neighboring Fushun in the east, Fuxin in the west, Shenyang in the south, and bordering with Siping in Jilin in the north.
