Tianjun County is located in the northeastern part of Haixi Mongol and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, China, at the southern foothills of Qilian Mountains, with an average altitude of more than 4,000 meters, making it a typical plateau pastoral county. The county covers a total area of 25,700 square kilometers, with magnificent alpine meadows, glacier landscape and rich plateau animal and plant resources. As an important water supply of Qinghai Lake, Buha River runs through the whole territory, and the ecological environment is primitive and pure.
Tianjun is a multi-ethnic settlement area with Tibetans as the main body, preserving the unique nomadic culture and Tibetan Buddhist tradition. The annual summer Naadam Conference focuses on horse racing, archery and other ethnic activities. The petroglyphs in the county, Zaxi County Nai Shenshan and other attractions carry a deep historical and religious heritage, and at the same time, it is also one of the important routes to the famous attraction "Mirror of the Sky" Chaka Salt Lake.
Tianjun County takes animal husbandry as its leading industry, producing yaks, Tibetan sheep and other livestock products. In recent years, under the premise of protecting the ecology, it has gradually developed plateau tourism and clean energy industry. Its unique plateau scenery and original culture are attracting more and more eco-tourism and photography enthusiasts to visit.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. The local economy is based on fishing, tourism and agriculture, and the climate is cool enough for summer vacations.
With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the nature and history of the Caucasus and is easily accessible for short trips.
