Anguilla is a British Overseas Territory located in the northern part of the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean Sea, consisting of the main island and a number of smaller cays, with the capital city of The Valley. The island, which covers an area of approximately 91 square kilometers, is famous for its 33 fine sandy beaches, including the white sands and crystal clear waters of Majestic Bay, which has been described as "one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean". As a tranquil vacation destination, Anguilla has a strong tourism industry, blending British colonial charm with Caribbean culture, and attracts visitors from around the globe with local seafood cuisine, reef diving and other experiences.
