Takahara Town is a town located in the western part of Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan, and is part of Nishiju Prefecture. It is surrounded by the Kyushu mountain range and is known for its rich natural beauty and hot springs. The town is blessed with the Kirishima mountain range and meandering rivers, and the climate is mild and humid, making it suitable for agriculture and eco-tourism. With a population of about 8,000 and an area of about 85 square kilometers, the town maintains a peaceful rural atmosphere.
The economy of Takaharamachi is based on agriculture, producing tea, vegetables and fruits, while tourism is developed through hot springs and hiking trails. The local culture is heavily influenced by Shintoism, with traditional festivals and shrines. Conveniently accessible via Miyazaki Airport or the JR Nihonbutsu Main Line, it is an ideal stopover for exploring the natural beauty of Kyushu.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
