Taixing City is located in the central part of Jiangsu Province, China. It is a county-level city under the administration of Taizhou City, and is situated in the northern wing of the Yangtze River Delta Economic Circle. The city is known as the "Hometown of Education" and "Hometown of Ginkgo", with a total area of 1,172 square kilometers and a population of about 1.2 million.
