Martinique is a French overseas region located in the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean Sea and is not an independent country. Basse-Pointe is a picturesque municipality on the Caribbean coast at its northern tip, in the foothills of the Pelée volcano, known for its fertile volcanic soil and magnificent natural beauty.
Basse Panthe is situated in a tropical rainforest area in the northern part of Martinique, facing the Atlantic Ocean and backed by the island's highest peak, the Pelée Volcano. The area is characterized by abundant rainfall, dense vegetation, banana plantations and lush hills, black sand beaches and ocean waves, creating a unique coastal landscape.
The region's economy is based on agriculture, especially the cultivation of tropical fruits such as bananas and pineapples.
