Taijiang, Fujian, China, a district of Fuzhou, Fujian Province, is located on the north bank of the lower reaches of the Minjiang River, and is the core part of the central part of Fuzhou, which is known as the "millennium commercial port". Historically, as an important window for Fuzhou's foreign trade, Taijiang brought together merchant gangs from all over the world, leaving behind historical and cultural districts such as Shangshanghang, where the remains of Ming and Qing dynasties' ancient houses and guild halls exist, carrying the deep heritage of the culture of Min Du. Nowadays, Taijiang integrates tradition and modernity, and is not only the gathering place of Fuzhou's commerce and financial service industry, but also an important node of the landscape belt along the Min River, which has the fireworks of the old city and new vitality of the metropolis, and demonstrates the unique urban charm of Fuzhou's "mountains, water, river and sea" integration.
Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
