Taihe County, belonging to Fuyang City, Anhui Province, China, is located at the southern end of the Yellow-Huai Plain, with a total area of 1,822 square kilometers and a population of about 1.7 million. As the intersection node of the Central Plains Economic Zone and the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration, it has an advantageous geographic location and a well-developed transportation network.
Taihe, which belonged to Yuzhou in ancient times, has the reputation of "Hometown of Medicine" and "Hometown of Painting and Calligraphy", and is the hometown of Chinese painting and calligraphy art and the national medicine distribution center. There are cultural sites such as Dacheng Hall of the Temple of Literature and Niqiu Ludu Pile in Taihe, preserving the profound Confucian and Chinese medicine culture traditions.
Taihe has formed four leading industries, namely, pharmaceutical distribution, hair products, industrial sieve and green new energy, among which the annual turnover of the pharmaceutical market exceeds one hundred billion yuan, and it is known as "East China's Pharmaceutical Capital". The modern agriculture is famous for mint, orange blossom and other special planting industry, and it is the advanced county of national grain production.
Shaying River National Wetland Park constitutes an urban ecological corridor, and Taihe Hot Spring Resort is an important leisure destination in northern Anhui. The calligraphy and painting art festival and medicine expo held annually have become regional characteristic cultural business cards.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
