Sylhet is an important city in northeastern Bangladesh, located on the border of the Indian state of Meghalaya, and is the capital of the Sylhet district. The city is famous for its lush tea plantations and unique natural landscape, and is known as the "Tea Capital of Bangladesh", surrounded by famous tea plantations such as Marni Tea Plantation, which produces Sylheti Tea that is famous all over the world. In addition, the Jaflong Waterfalls are a local landmark, with their crystal clear streams and the surrounding green hills forming a stunning landscape. Sylhet also retains a rich cultural heritage, with a distinctive local language, Sylheti, and a population known for its warm hospitality. As a regional economic center, it has developed rapidly in agriculture, fisheries and handicrafts, and is a window to the cultural and natural charms of eastern Bangladesh.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
