Suihua City is located in the central part of Heilongjiang Province, China. It is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Heilongjiang Province, and is situated at the junction of Songnen Plain and Xiaoxinganling. As an important agricultural base, Suihua is known for its grain production, producing corn, soybeans and rice, and is regarded as the core area of the "Northern Silos". The city has a long history and is rich in cultural heritage and natural landscapes, such as the Suiling Forestry Bureau Ecological Zone and the Jin Dynasty Ruins. The economy is based on agriculture, with food processing and manufacturing, and the city is conveniently connected to Harbin via the Hassui High-Speed Railway.
