Suide County is located in the north of Shaanxi Province, China, southeast of Yulin City, located in the hinterland of the Loess Plateau, is an important historical and cultural city at the confluence of the Wuding River and the Dali River. As the transportation hub and economic and cultural center of northern Shaanxi, Suide has been known as the "Famous State of the World".
Suide has a history of more than 2,200 years, and was the seat of the Shangxian County during the Qin and Han Dynasties, with historical relics such as Qin Fusu's Tomb and Mengtian's Tomb. It is an important birthplace of folk songs, rice-planting songs and stone carving art in northern Shaanxi, and is known as the "hometown of stone carving", with a large number of precious cultural relics in its Han Picture Stone Exhibition Hall. Suide has a temperate continental monsoon climate and is rich in millet, jujube and other agricultural products.
