Suichang County is located in the southwestern part of Zhejiang Province, belonging to Lishui City, situated in the upper reaches of Qiantang River and Oujiang River, and is an important ecological barrier and demonstration area for cultural and tourism integration in southwestern Zhejiang. The forest coverage rate of the county is as high as 82.3%, with national scenic spots such as Nanjianyan and Shenlong Valley, and rich ecological resources nurtured among the strange peaks and beautiful waters. The county is rich in culture, and is the "favorite place" of Tang Xianzu, a dramatist in the Ming Dynasty who served as a governor. "Suichang Kunqu Shifan" is listed in the national non-legacy list, and clusters of ancient villages, such as the Dushan Ancient Village and the Wangcunkou Ancient Town, still retain the architectural style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Relying on ecological and cultural advantages, Suichang vigorously develops eco-agriculture and rural tourism, with high mountain vegetables, yellow hair dumplings and other specialties renowned both inside and outside the province, and is the backyard of leisure and vacation in the Yangtze River Delta region.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. The local economy is based on fishing, tourism and agriculture, and the climate is cool enough for summer vacations.
With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the nature and history of the Caucasus and is easily accessible for short trips.
