Soljani is a village in the Slavonia-Baranja County in eastern Croatia, located in the historic Slavonia region. It belongs to the famous wine region, surrounded by extensive farmland and vineyards, and is known for the production of high-quality white wines such as Graševina.
The village is situated on the Danube plain, with flat terrain and a mild climate suitable for agriculture. The surrounding nature is dominated by idyllic fields and wetlands, and it is close to the famous Kopačkiřit Nature Park, a popular destination for birdwatching and eco-tourism.
Soljany retains traditional Slavonian architecture and the local culture is heavily influenced by Croatia and Hungary. The village's economy is based on agriculture and winemaking, and events such as the annual Wine Festival are organized to attract visitors to experience authentic cuisine and country life.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
