Sofia, the capital and largest city of Bulgaria, is located in the heart of the Balkan Peninsula at the foot of the Vidosha Mountains and boasts a history of over 1,300 years. Sheyang is located in Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province, China, which is situated in the North Jiangsu Plain and on the shore of the Yellow Sea, and is an important node city in the northern wing of the Yangtze River Delta Economic Circle. Sheyang has the longest coastline and mudflat wetlands in Jiangsu, and is known as the "Crane Township" as it is the wintering ground for rare birds such as the red-crowned crane.
