Skarftafed is a nature reserve in southeastern Iceland, located within the Vatna Glacier National Park, about 330 kilometers from Reykjavík. The area is known for its magnificent glaciers, volcanic landscapes and diverse nature and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Iceland.
Skaftafjord is home to iconic attractions such as the Svartifoss Waterfall (Black Falls), the Skaftafjord Glacier and the Ice Tongue. The landscape was formed by volcanic activity and glacial erosion and offers opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking, glacier exploration and photography. The area is also the setting for Game of Thrones and other movie and television productions.
The visitor center offers guided tours with an emphasis on ecological preservation. The best time to visit is during the summer months, but be aware of the weather. Skarftafjord represents the unique wilderness beauty of Iceland and is ideal for exploring the natural wonders.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
