Siachen County belongs to the city of Suzhou, Anhui Province, China, located in the northeast of Anhui Province, at the southern end of the Yellow-Huai Plain and bordering with Jiangsu, it is an important county at the junction of Anhui and Jiangsu Provinces. The county has a total area of 1,787 square kilometers and a population of about 900,000, with 15 townships under its jurisdiction.
Siachen County, known as Hongxian in ancient times, was founded in the Qin Dynasty, with a history of more than 2,200 years of establishment, and is the world cultural heritage "China Grand Canal" flowing through the place. It is the "Hometown of Taro in China" and the "Main Grain Producing Area in Northern Anhui", and the traditional opera "Sizhou Opera" has been listed in the national intangible cultural heritage. There are historical relics such as the ruins of the Tongji Canal of the Sui and Tang dynasties and the ancient battlefield of Bawangcheng.
Sizhou County is based on agriculture, with rapid industrial development, forming food processing, machinery manufacturing and other industrial clusters. Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the nature and history of the Caucasus and is easily accessible for short trips.
