Located in the southwest of Jilin Province, China, Siping is an important prefecture-level city in Jilin Province, and is situated in the core area of Northeast Asia Economic Circle. As an old industrial base city in Northeast China, Siping is known for its machinery manufacturing, agricultural product processing and energy industries, and has the historical and cultural heritage of "Madrid of the East". The city has convenient transportation and is an important node of the Hada Railway and the Beijing-Harbin Expressway.
Siping has a temperate continental monsoon climate with four distinct seasons and rich agricultural resources, making it an important commercial grain base in China. Famous attractions such as the Yehenara Old Town and the Battle of Siping Memorial Museum attract many tourists, while the city is famous for its specialties such as smoked meat pancakes and Li Liangui's flavorful snacks. The city focuses on ecological development and is actively promoting economic transformation and modernization.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims.
