Located in Georgia's eastern Kakheti region, Sighnaghi is the country's famous wine region and tourist town. Nestled on the ridge of the Caucasus Mountains at an altitude of about 790 meters, the town is famous for its well-preserved 18th-century walls, red-tiled roofs and cobblestone streets, and is known as the "City of Love".
Siganagi has a long history and its defensive walls, at 4.5 kilometers long, are the longest surviving walls in Georgia. The town is surrounded by vineyards and wineries, where visitors can experience traditional winemaking in clay pots and sample local wines. Major attractions include St. George's Church, the Sigonaghi Museum, and a viewing platform overlooking the Alazani Valley.
As a popular tourist destination in Georgia, Signaghi combines natural beauty, history, culture and gastronomic experiences, attracting a large number of tourists every year to explore the unique charms of the Caucasus region.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
