Shuimogou District is located in the northeastern part of Urumqi City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and is an ecological district at the northern foot of Tianshan Mountain, known as "landscape bonsai". It has rich hot spring resources, and has been the "town of hot springs" since ancient times. The Shumogou Hot Spring Scenic Spot has a long history, and the spring water is rich in minerals, which has both therapeutic and recreational values. In the city, the natural landscape of Xuelian Mountain and Hot Spring Mountain is intertwined with the city's green space, and the majestic posture of Bogda Peak is a perfect match with the city's flavor. As a multi-ethnic settlement area, Shuimogou integrates the cultural characteristics of Uyghur and Han Chinese, with rich folk customs. In recent years, the district has relied on ecological and cultural resources to develop cultural and tourism industries, and has built a number of scenic spots and recreational facilities, becoming one of the first choices for Urumqi citizens to have leisure and recreation, and for tourists to experience the northern border, which is both ecologically livable and vibrant in terms of cultural and tourism.
