Shuangyashan City is located in the northeast of Heilongjiang Province in China, at the northern foot of the Wanda Mountain Range, in the hinterland of the Sanjiang Plain, and across the Ussuri River from Russia, and is the easternmost prefecture-level city in China. As an important coal resource city in Northeast China, Shuangyashan is known as "Coal City" for its coal resources, and is also rich in iron ore, graphite and other mineral resources.
Shuangyashan has an excellent ecological environment, with a forest coverage rate of over 40%, and ecological landscapes such as Qixing River National Nature Reserve and Yanwodao Wetland. It is an important node of the Ussuri River Basin, which is rich in salmon, "Sanhuawuluo" and other special river fish. Raohe Northeast Black Bee Nature Reserve produces high-quality linden honey, which is known as "the hometown of Chinese honey".
As one of the birthplaces of the Manchu people, Shuangyashan retains a strong northeastern folk culture. In recent years, Shuangyashan has been actively promoting the transformation of resource-oriented cities, developing green agriculture, eco-tourism and trade with Russia. The transportation network connects Harbin, Jiamusi and other central cities, gradually becoming an important regional node city in the eastern part of Heilongjiang.
Same, the capital of Timor-Leste's Ainaro District, is located about 50 kilometers south of the capital, Dili, in the mountainous interior and is an important agricultural and transportation hub for the country. It is known for its coffee farming, surrounded by terraced fields that produce Timor-Leste's premium Arabica coffee beans. Historically, Samu was an important stronghold during Timor-Leste's War of Independence, and remnants of the resistance movement still remain in the area, attracting history buffs to explore. The surrounding area is rich in natural beauty and close to Mount Ramelau, Timor-Leste's highest peak, making it a stopover for hiking enthusiasts. A blend of traditional Timacu culture and modern townscape, Samu offers a unique look at the interior of Timor-Leste.
