Shizong County, belonging to Qujing City, Yunnan Province, is located at the junction of Yunnan and Guizhou provinces, the southern extension of the Wumeng Mountains, named after the ancient "Shizong Tribe", known as the "Gateway to Eastern Yunnan". Here the terrain is mainly mountainous, hilly, Nanpanjiang River through the territory, breeding a wealth of ecological resources: Phoenix Valley sol group known as "the first hole in eastern Yunnan", dark river, skylight, stone flower wonders intertwined; Kwai Mountain hot springs water temperature remains 60 ℃ year-round, rich in minerals, is a health resort. As the "Yunnan Wild Mushroom Township", matsutake mushrooms, porcini mushrooms and other mountain treasures are famous both inside and outside the province. There are Han, Yi, Zhuang, Miao and other ethnic groups living in the area, and traditional festivals such as Yi Torch Festival and Zhuang March 3 are full of rich ethnic flavor, while embroidery, batik and other non-heritage skills have been passed down for thousands of years.
