Shiyan is located in the northwestern part of Hubei Province, China, and is a regional center city at the junction of four provinces and cities, namely, Hubei, Henan, Shaanxi and Chongqing. As the "Truck Capital of China", Shiyan is famous for Dongfeng Motor Company and is an important commercial vehicle production base and modern manufacturing center in China. The city is located in the Qinba mountainous area, with the Han River running through it, and boasts natural and humanistic landscapes such as the Wudang Mountain World Heritage Site and the Danjiangkou Reservoir. Shiyan is also the core water source area of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project, with a prominent ecological status. Its climate belongs to the northern subtropical monsoon climate, with four distinct seasons and abundant resources, combining industrial vitality and landscape charm.
